The Dramatic Universe, Volume 4: History

This new edition of the fourth volume of The Dramatic Universe includes corrections to errata found in the previous editions, but is otherwise unchanged and includes no new material. The work can be read without reference to the earlier volumes, b but readers should be aware that many notions particularly Hyparxis, are introduced in previous volumes, where extensive explanations are included. Although Bennett's greatest teacher G.I. Gurdjieff is only briefly referenced, Bennett's argument that the greatest advances in evolution are in the development of Mind, is entirely consistent with Gurdjieff's teaching. Some readers have asserted that many of the arguments that Bennett advances are based on palaeontological research that was accepted at that time but no longer is. This criticism does not refute Bennett's central theme of the Intelligent Guidance of History. Read more
